Special Skills: I am a team player with the client and photographers best interest taking precedence. I work very hard to assure that what ever task is assigned to me gets done properly and with the utmost diligence. I am a very nice guy first and foremost, and respect that my position coming into a job is not to appear to know more than the photographer. I am part of a team that requires me to assist and comment and make necessary suggestions when my expertise is called on. I have been in the industry a very long time and bring a skill set that only years of experience working on many kinds of shoots, can only bring. I love what I do and I love working with new people of all walks of life and all levels of experience. I appreciate every day that I get to work, as if it were my last. I have worked with such amazing subjects as Michael Jackson, as lighting director, lighting a very carefully crafted set for him during the mid-nineties, under complete secrecy for the MTV Music, Moon Walker Award. I work well with others, and respect the difficulties of the photographer and client relationship. I am also, an avid musician and can break into song and dance at any given time; well only if asked to of course! Did I tell you that I was once the Indian for the Village People? Well that part is true but it’s a long story. LOL! I am also a salsa and Latin jazz musician. That part too, is real. I worked with the famous Joe Cuba Sextet until his demise in 2008, for 15 years, while continuing to work in the photo business. Assisting such photographers as Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Walter Chin, Sante D’Orazio and on and on. There is no job too small or too big for this guy. Bring it and I will make sure that you are happy in the end. I look forward to working with you.
